BMS Design Details: The initial contract was to design, supply, install (including civil works) and commission a BMS BL 4000 Blivet Unit. This was expanded during the contract to include screening and additional treatment for nitrification plus water supply and extra civil works.

BMS Construction/Installation Details: BMS was responsible for the entire contract including all civil works, control house construction and de-commissioning of existing works.

BMS Operation/Maintenance Details: The BMS Blivet is designed to have minimal visual impact on locations where it is installed, which was important in the case of Mountbolus where the treatment plant presents an attractive unobtrusive vista in a rural setting. It has operated successfully and continuously since commissioning.
