BMS Sales Office Opens in Poland

In order to serve the emerging markets in Central & Eastern Europe, BMS has established a Sales Office in Gliwice, Southern Poland. The office will be active from the 2nd January 2008. Following an Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to Bulgaria and Romania in November 2007, a series of Trade Shows and technical presentations will be embarked upon during 2008. The manager of the office is Jaroslaw Misztal who is a most welcome addition to the BMS team. All enquiries for the region will now be dealt with by Mr Misztal.

1.3 m US $ order for Middle East

BMS is delighted to announce the award of an order for 12 No. BMS BL 4000 Blivet units for the Middle East. The order was won in October 2007, and 8 units have already been shipped by the end of 2007, with 4 more units being shipped by the end of January 2008. The exact location and client details are subject to a confidentiality clause. 2007 was a record year for exports from the BMS headquarter factory in Longford, Ireland. Employment here has grown to 40 persons from 35 in 2006.

French Distributor continues to grow Market Share

Neve Environnement, the BMS Distributor for France and all French Territories, opens 2008 with an order for 3 No BMS Blivets for mainland France. In fact the BMS Blivet is unknown in France as it is marketed by Neve under the name ‘BMS Shannon’. Other locations that Neve has been successful with the BMS Shannon, include the island of Mayotte in the Indian Ocean and Francophile Africa such as Gabon. BMS has product in over 35 countries worldwide

Longford Company to Invest €0.5m in R&D with Support from Enterprise Ireland

Butler Manufacturing Services Ltd (BMS) has announced in October 2007 that it is embarking on € 0.5m research and development programme with support from Enterprise Ireland. BMS is an export-focussed manufacturing and R&D company in the field of waste water treatment. This investment will enable BMS expand into this market by developing a complete suite of wastewater and surface water products.

Managing Director, Seamus Butler said: “Research and development are crucial to the survival and expansion of any company attempting to make a profit manufacturing in Ireland. BMS has been committed to R&D since its inception twenty one years ago when we developed the BMS Blivet, which is still our flagship product and now sold in over thirty countries worldwide.”
