RAINMASTER MULTI

The RAINMASTER MULTI (RMM) is a fully automatic control and operating system, specially developed in conjunction with our German partners, INTEWA for rainwater harvesting for small to medium sized premises such as offices, schools & apartments. It comes in two models the RMM-20 & RMM-40 depending on the water demands of the premises. The German DVGW certified design includes a near silent multistage centrifugal pump, control unit and automatic potable water refill unit, complying with BS8515:2009. It is simple to install and compact enought to fit into tight spaces. High quality components guarantee reliablility and durability. Should the rainwater level in the storage tank fall below the minimum required level, the integrated motorvalve, switches from rainwater to potable (mains) water. Unlike ordinary systems with zonevalves, this valve guarantees a safe mechanical disconnection of the rainwater supply. As a result, installation and operation below the gravity overflow level is possible. This is particularily important when installation takes place below ground floor level e.g. a basement. Turn-key installation options are available

Variable Speed Control

The Rainmaster Multi now comes with a bluetooth variable speed control option. This has a number of benefits and is unique to the market. Firstly, it allows up to three Rainmaster Multi units to be linked together in parallel. This allows the Rainmaster Multi to cater for much larger rainwater flows. The successive units communicate via the bluetooth control and will only switch on as rainwater demand rises. For example, when one toilet is flushed one of the units will switch on at low output to meet this demand. If then a large amount of toilets are flushed successively, such as during a break in a school, the successive units switch on as the demand increases up to the three units operating in unison at peak load if required. As demand then subsides the units would slow down and switch off in reverse. The Bluetooth control offers a significant advantage over other systems in that all the units have there own control panel and bluetooth control, so retain independent function. Thus a multiple Rainmaster Multi system has built in redundancy. For example if one unit has a problem or is switched off for maintenance, the other unit(s) would continue to function normally. This yields great peace of mind. It also has the further benefit of extending individual pump life by approximately 40% and significantly reducing power consumption i.e. the variable speed drive will mean the pump will only operate at the minimum power level required to service a particular demand. Without a variable speed control a pump will operate at 100% regardless of the demand but for a low demand situation such as the flushing of a single toilet the variable speed control will mean the pump will operate at no more the 60% yeilding a 40% power saving. This saving can prove very significant overtime with the increasing emphasis on energy efficiency. Indeed the Rainmaster Multi with a bluetooth variable speed control meets the strictest standards of the European Ecodesign Directive for Energy Utilising Products (EuP).

To properly determine the unit & tank size most suitable for your premises there are a number of considerations such as roof area, average rainfall, number of occupants/staff and potential uses of the rainwater, which need to be considered. Further options such as UV disinfection so rain water can be used for bathing/body hygiene are available.
A specifically designed highly portable & connectable 3000L tank which fits through tight spaces is available as standard. The 3000L tanks are connectable in series via self sealing collars. Any other tank size is available to order.
