SILT TRAPS - Forecourt & Carwash Silt Collection

In line with their overall Environmental Protection Policy, BMS have developed a range of Silt Traps. Petrol and oil spillages do not pose the only threat to the forecourt drainage system. The advent of the latest technology in vehicle washing equipment has created the problem of increasing quantities of grit and silt which result in blockages of gullies and drainage systems. The BMS Silt Trap range is the answer to this problem.

Made from Glass Reinforced Polyester in accordance with BS 8301 : 1985, they are light and durable and suitable for quick and easy installation so ensuring low labour costs. They are supplied complete with a heavy duty frame and hinged grid for ease of opening and to enable easy access for sediment removal. The trap is reinforced with an angular steel frame for additional strength and to provide good adhesion to concrete. It is rot proof, impact resistant and is resistant to all forecourt liquids.
